หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Growth Stage Identification in Mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek)) ผู้เขียน:ดร.อภิพรรณ พุกภักดี, ศาสตราจารย์, Vilaiwan Promkham, Chutanart Chuangpetchinda, Sawai Pongkao, Chalermpol Lairungrueng สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractGrowth stage descriptions were developed for Mungbean (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) based on measurements and visual observations of Mungbean plants grown in four successive experiments conducted from May 1986 to November 1978 at Chainat Field Crop Research Center, Department of Agriculture and Department of Agronomy, Kasetsart University. It is proposed that the growth stages of Mungbean be defined in terms of vegetative (V) and reproductive (R) stages. The V stages are numbered V(o) – V(n), and are determined by counting the number of developed nodes on the main stem, beginning with the cotyledonary node as zero. The last node counted must have its trifoliate leaf sufficiently expanded so that leaflets are unfolded and flat in appearance. The R-stages proposed are R1 (first open flower), R2 (first pod), R3 (start of seed growth), R4 (full seed), R5(first mature pod), R6(1st harvest) and R7 (2nd harvest). The V and R stages can be measured separately and concurrently and apply to a population, or to single plants. When Mungbean cultivars, Kamphaeng Saen 1 (KPS-1), Kamphaeng Saen 2 (KPS-2), Uthong 1 and Chainat 60 were grown in a randomized complete block design at Chainat Field Crop Research Center (Chainat FCRC) in May and August 1986. Also at Kasetsart University (KU) cultivars KPS-1, KPS-2, and U-thong 1 were grown in May and August 1987. It was found that, cultivars, KPS-1, KPS-2 and U-thong 1 grown at KU matured in 86 and 78 days at May and August planting. At Chainat, cultivars KPS-1, KPS-2 and U-thong 1 matured in 58 days regardless of planting dates, while Chainat 60 matured in 51 and 52 days for May and August planting respectively. At all locations tested, all mungbean cultivars at least completed their vegetative growth up to V6 before shifting to R1. In many cases, the plants extended their vegetative growth up to V, before flowering depending on genotypes, planting dates and locations. To complete its life cycle, the mungbean plants consequently exhibited R1 up to R2 growth stages. The propose growth stage description of mungbean should be potentially useful and facilitate a common understanding among researchers and extension personnels and should provide a more precise basis for scheduling cultural practices for mungbean. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Effects of Plant Spacing on Growth and Yield of Cotton Cultivar Sri Sumrong 60 Growth in Dry Season) ผู้เขียน:นางสาวแอนนา สายมณีรัตน์, ดร.อภิพรรณ พุกภักดี, ศาสตราจารย์, Yves Crozat, ดร.พูนพิภพ เกษมทรัพย์, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe objective of this experiment was to study the effects of narrow spacing on growth and yield of cotton cultivar Sri Sumrong 60. Trial was conducted at National Corn and Sorghum Research Center, Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima from January to July 1996. The design of the experiment was a split plot design with 3 replications. Main-Plot treatments consisted of two between row spacing, 1.0 and 0.5 m and the sub-plots were two within row spacing of 0.1 and 0.2 m. Resolts revealed that no spacing effect was found on yield and yield components of cotton. However, the row spacing of 1.0 m had trend to give approximately 10% higher seed cotton yield than of 0.5 m. And within row spacing of 0.1 m also had trend to give 13.5% higher seed cotton yield than of 0.2 m. It is dued to higher value of the efficiency of light conversion of cotton grown in within row spacing of 0.1 m. |

สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf Abstract The experiment was conducted on December, 1983 at the greenhouse of the Department of Agronomy, Kasetsart University, Bangkok. Soybean varieties S.J.2, S.J.4, accessions KU.3, KU.4 and Ku.5 were grown in 16 hours photoperiod for 30, 45 and 60 days before subjecting the plants to the normal photoperiod and compared the growth and flowering habits with the controlled plants. It was found that the period between photo induction and the appearance of flowers, and flowering period, decreased as the vegetative growth of plants were lengthen. Moreover, the plants which had longer vegetative growth produced more flowers than the controlled one. |
หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : Effects of Water Deficit on Growth and Yield of Cotton Cultivar Sri Sumrong 60) ผู้เขียน:นางสาวแอนนา สายมณีรัตน์, ดร.อภิพรรณ พุกภักดี, ศาสตราจารย์, Yves Crozat, ดร.พูนพิภพ เกษมทรัพย์, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe objectives of this study were to determine the effects of water deficit on growth yield and yield components of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.). The study has been conducted in the dry season of 1996 (January – July, 1996) at National Corn and Sorghum Research Center, Pak Chong, Nakhon Ratchasima. The experimental design was Randomized Complete Block with 4 replications. The cultivar Sri Sumrong 60 was used in this experiment. Treatments composed of full irrigation applied weekly (T1), stress period at the beginning of square producing stage (T2) and stress period at the early blooming stage (T3). Midday leaf water potential (?1) was used as an indicator for water deficit, when ?1 reached about-2.5 MPa, the irrigation was resumed again. The results revealed that plant height, number of nodes per plant and height to node ratio of T2 and T3 were statistically lower than of T1 during stress period. The production of reproductive organs of T2 and T3 was significantly reduced. Ten days after reirrigation, the recovery and rapid growth occurred in T2 and T3. Thus, total seed cotton yield of T2 and T3 was not significantly different from T1. However, T3 gave the greatest seed cotton yield, approximately 3 ton ha-1. |

หัวเรื่อง:ไม่มีชื่อไทย (ชื่ออังกฤษ : The Effect of Fertilizer and Irrigation on Yield and Quality of Rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) Grown in Chanthaburi Province of Thailand) ผู้เขียน:Sopheaveasna, สาลี่ ชินสถิต, ดร.อภิพรรณ พุกภักดี, ศาสตราจารย์, ดร.พูนพิภพ เกษมทรัพย์, รองศาสตราจารย์ สื่อสิ่งพิมพ์:pdf AbstractThe experiment on effects of fertilizer and irrigation on yield and quality of rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) grown at Chanthaburi province is an on-farm research conducted at the Rubber Plantation of Sindane Thai Rubber Co, Ltd. The objective of the experiment was to investigate the effect of irrigation and fertilizer on yield and quality of rubber. Experimental design used was a split plot with three replications, having irrigation and non irrigation as main plots and three formulas of NPK fertilizer of 15-7-18, 30-5-18 and 23-5-18 as subplots factorially arranged within each main plot. The trial was conducted on the clay loam soil of Klongluk series having the pH of 5.0 with 1.6% organic matter, 80.9 and 134 ppm of P and K respectively. The result of the experiment revealed that irrigation treatment increased the yield per tree per tapping, monthly production and also total rubber production per year. Latex yield also increased as the result of irrigation treatment. Under non-irrigation, the percentage of dry rubber content (DRC) was higher than those of irrigation treatment. Percentage of DRC was negatively correlated with both rubber yield and latex yield only under non-irrigation treatments. Result of latex diagnosis analysis showed that sucrose and total solid content (TSC) of samples were not affected by irrigation and fertilizer treatments. Inorganic phosphate (Pi) increased in the irrigated plot than those of non-irrigation but was not significantly differed (P>0.05) among others. Thiol content in latex samples showed the significant different (P<0.05) between irrigated and non-irrigated plots. Girth of rubber increased as the result of irrigation application while the percentage of tapping panel dryness (%TPD) was higher in non-irrigation treatment. The result of this study did not showed the effect of fertilizer treatments in any of the parameters measured. It may be possible that it would take a longer time than the experimental period before the effect of fertilizer will be pronounced. |
